A rivalry between two rappers King Von and Quando Rando, at  Monaco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta, Ga, leaves six people shot with three dead, including Dayvon Daquan Bennett (King Von) and three wounded. At the time of the incident, two off-duty police officers worked as bouncers, and a third duty officer was nearby in a visible patrol car. King Von, a relatively unknown rapper until two years, is a Chicago sou-thside native from Parkway Gardens Projects known as O’Block. The same neighborhood produced famous drill rappers like Chief Keef and Lil Durk, who signed  King Von to his Only The Family Entertainment in 2018. After relocating to Atlanta to pursue his rap career with Lil Durk; in an interview, he stated, "I love Atlanta because I can live there with no problems and s***, and that's where there are more rappers," he explained, in an interview for Passion of the Weiss. Although King Von moved to Georgia to escape the death and drama in Chi-Raq, trouble would follow soon after arriving in Atlanta. On February 5th, 2019, King Von arrested alongside Lil Durk for attempted murder and robbery. Both men are on bond; the case is still open.

King Von music began picking up steam in 2019 with Crazy Story, which drew a lot of attention from the industry and rap fans alike. Welcome To O’Block with his lead single I Took Her To The O was just released one week before his death. King Von has had an on-going beef with rappers NBA Young Boy and his protege rapper Quando Rando which started a couple of years ago after a series of Instagram live disses where King took shots at NBA Young Boy for not being a real gangster. Both men have downplayed their beef. But we know that the beef escalated when NBA made a song with King Von ex-girlfriend Houston rapper Asian Doll. Not to be outdone, Von responded by posting pictures of himself and Jania Mishelle estrange mother of NBA Young Boy child. You are probably asking yourself what does this have to do with Savannah rapper Quando Rando? Well, Quando Rando signed to NBA Young Boy label, and this mere association put the young rapper square in the middle of the beef. Upon seeing each other at the hookah lounge, a fight broke out, and gunshots ensued. After 23 hours of rumors and conspiracy theories, we now know that 22-year-old Timothy Leeks, a member of Quando Rando 4kTray group from Atlanta, Georgia, has been arrested and charge with the murder of King Von. He is in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds suffered from the incident.
