Artist
KAVI PICASSO
Kavi Picasso’s musical style enigma in the world of music, when asked to define his music he refuses to be placed in a box. His sound is rooted in hip-hop and R&B, however, there is something different about his music. He will refer to himself as Apollo the god of Mousike (the art of muses), who presides over all music, songs, dance, and poetry.
WAY WAY SANTANA
Just north of San Francisco and the Bay Area, in the streets of North Richmond, California, a distinct sound is bubbling. A sound that merges the old school, hyphy energy of NorCal legends Mac Dre and Keak da Sneak with a fresh, new school ambiance. Many are spearheading this progressive take on upper West Coast Hip-Hop; but none as dominant as Way Way Santana.
JOHNNY CA$H
Johnny Castaneda Jr. a.k.a. Johnny Ca$h was an up and coming rap artist from the bay area. He was a part of the Money Gang together with Rydah J. Klyde. He was killed on March 29, 2007 when he was shot in Vallejo, CA. He was 25 years old. His memory lives on through the hyphy movement, and his great music and personality will never be forgotten.
