Jamie Foxx Speaks Out About Hospitalization: "I Appreciate All The Love. Feeling Blessed”

Jamie Foxx has made his first public remark since being admitted to the hospital three weeks ago. The actor expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support on social media.
Corrine Foxx, his daughter, stated in April that her father suffered a "medical complication."
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday, (April 11),” read the statement. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
The family has not revealed what Foxx's "medical condition" is. Foxx's Instagram post comes after it was announced that Nick Cannon will take over as host of Beat Shazam.
"For six seasons and counting, Beat Shazam has been an unscripted regular on Fox's programming. This season, not wanting game show fans to miss a beat, Nick Cannon has agreed to stand in as guest host for his pals, Jamie and Corinne Foxx. Kelly Osbourne will serve as a guest DJ. "Everyone at Fox Entertainment wishes Jamie the best as he continues his recovery, and we are grateful for Nick's willingness to step in and assist this summer," Fox said in a statement.
Beat Shazam, which was shot in Ireland, will be back on Fox on May 23.
