OMB PEEZY ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO RODDY RICCH & 42 DUGG VIDEO SET SHOOTING
Mobile Alabama Rapper arrested this week connected with 42 Dugg and Roddy Ricch shooting. LeParis Dade, 24, also known as OMB Peezy, was arrested Monday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, jail records show. According to police spokesman Officer Anthony Grant, Atlanta police and the U.S. Marshals Service took Dade into custody without incident.
The shooting took place at 598 Wells Street, where rappers Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg were filming a music video on Feb. 21. Responding officers found one man at the scene who had been grazed by a bullet and later located two others who had been injured and were taken to the hospital, Grant said. All three were in stable condition. Police did not go into the details surrounding the shooting and any relation to the alleged shooter and the victims.
Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg were not injured in the incident. “ain’t nobody shoot at me,” Roddy Ricch tweeted on Monday, February 22. “We all good. I’m juss tryna feed the streets.” 42 Dugg addressed the incident in an Instagram Live conversation with Lil Baby: “Real talk we all good, man,” he said.
Fans have been pouring out support for the rapper with free OMB Peezy posts to social media. OMB Peezy is scheduled to release a new album called Too Deep for Tears this Friday, March 3. His bail was set at $60,000.
