T.I. Host a Paperwork Party At 'Trap City Cafe' In ATL Response to Boosie Calling Him a Snitch!
In a recent article, we covered rapper Boosie interview with Vlad TV in which he infamously called fellow rapper and peer T.I. a “Rat,” for allegedly calling on his deceased cousin to dodge criminal gun charges. With such an explosive allegation and public rebuke, the ATL wordsmith has responded in a number of ways. First, he responded with a lengthy social media post, “My number the same & my address the same my n####,” he said. “To get on da net & speak on s### you’ve never spoken to me about is leaving me to believe you been hiding ya heart the whole time.”
Tip added. “I’d NEVER speak ‘certain disrespect’ on your name/reputation bout an ‘IF’ homie. da convict code say When in doubt…pull the paperwork out!!! & ‘IF’ you ain’t did that.” Then he did an on-camera interview with Trap News Networx where claimed that he was only joking about the whole situation on his ‘expediTIously’ podcast that aired 2 years ago. He explained that people have run with the story as fact when, in reality, some of it was embellished from a discussion he and a friend once had. “That conversation was, ‘Aye, bruh if me and you catch a case together and I die before you, it’s mine. It’s mine.’ He like, ‘Nah, I can’t do that,” said the “Libra” emcee. T.I. responded to his friend with ” ‘Yes you can.’ It’s mine; why can’t you?’ “
He continued, “I don’t understand it…So, off of that conversation, I created a set of circumstances, and I thought that the embellishment was clear when I said I talked to my cousin and he told me.” The “King of the South” also took a moment to clarify that he beat the charges without ever giving up a name. “The case was resolved because of a motion to suppress evidence due to an illegal search and seizure. No need to point no finger or say nothin’ about nobody,” said T.I. to Rich Trapper.
On Thursday, T.I. followed up with a post on his Instagram story, seemingly sharing the alleged court order and inviting others to do the same.
“FYI…Can’t Nobody Who Got dey name in other people’s paperwork question me about mine!!!! I got it one me… we can have a paperwork party,” he wrote alongside the document.
Tip held court at the Trap City Cafe in Atlanta on Friday night (February 24), where he was seen waving around a court document allegedly proving he didn’t snitch on his dead cousin.
T.I. didn’t address Boosie directly but concluded by telling his haters to “PULL UP,” or shut up.
